Dr. Metropolis' chest tattoo is a wholly inaccurate representation of the super bad-ass tattoo on the chest of the Real Life Joseph Metropolis. But you know, I was drawing from memory.
I totally spilled something horrible all over the original 1st panel of page 18. And that panel had been bothering me ever since I drew it. So I had to redraw it & it turned out so much better the second time around.
I haven't spilled anything on any pages since.
Real Life Connor has always been a little "girl-crazy" and Real Life Brendan is a consummate cool dude who doesn't sweat anything, let alone girls. So, it was totally fun to play with those personality traits in the comic.
