DAAAAAMN!

That's a lot of zombies!

Most of the people in this double-page spread are people I know in real-life.

I'm not sure how comfortable I am with saying who is who.

I don't want anyone getting pissed for me making them a zombie.

"Bloody Night, Bloody Knife" is also the title of a song by The Indepedents.

They had a lead singer named Evil Presley.

"Bad Brains" is also the name of an awesome punk band.

There's punk rock references all over this story arc!

I decided against the lengthy essay about how obsessed I was with the Resident Evil 2 PlayStation game back in the day.

Let's just say I was seriously fucking obsessed with Resident Evil 2 back in the day.

The whole reason they went to the police station in this issue was so I could draw this sequence.

I couldn't do a zombie story and not shout-out the game that, at least in part, inspired my love of spilling zombie brains.

I remember that I drew page 12 while my wife & I were on vacation in Chicago.

I appreciate her understanding that I can't go on vacation without working on my comic.

"I'm going crazier than Bishop killing his friends in Juice!" is another line from a Real Life Trik EZ song.

"SnickerSnack" is a sound-effect that I stole from Fables.

It's the sound Boy Blue's Vorpal Sword makes.

Brendan's views on Career Specific Zombies are those of my own.

Trik-EZ shooting 2 rounds in the air after he was told TWICE to conserve ammo is one of my favorite moments in this issue.

It's exactly how that dude is in Real Life.
