This is me doing some fake-Tarantino, backwards Memento bullshit.
So, this stuff is "what you didn't see" during the final scene of last issue. Future-Logan & the boys step into the time machine and next thing you know, the boys are locked up in the Restrictubes. The power goes out and the boys fight Future them. (God dammit all this just happened 2 posts ago. Go look it up.) So this prologue explains how the boys got in the Restrictubes and introduces Kaz & CJ (who we met last post.)
On a personal note. Drawing the staircase on these pages was a huge milestone for me. Then staircases made the list of things I hate drawing. After cars. And buildings.
In current Monkey Squad One news: Issue #9 is about a month out. I'll post a 4 page preview here sometime next week.
