The Journey Through the MonkeyVerse concludes...
with a visit to my high-school.
I graduated high-school in 1995. I had the haircut where I had long hair but the underneath was shaved to the skin. And I always wore it in a ponytail which was super-classy.
So, in panel 3 on page 1, it's me in the middle with my high-school buddies Jeff Kidder and Jared Thompson.
If you're wondering, Monkey Squad One, does indeed, beat high-school Doug's ass in front of his high-school. They talk about it in Issue #6 and the upcoming #10.
The last thing about page 12...look how Brendan, Connor and Logan are all looking out of the driver's-side window and talking about U.N.C.L.E. Doug being lame. But in the top panel, the Hot Rod Time Machine is parked as such, that the driver's-side window is facing AWAY from the school. The boys are actually looking at and referencing toward the parking lot.
That's just me fucking up, y'all. It's gonna happen plenty.
Page 13 is handy because I put the date I printed this issue in the comic. That kind of shit is kind of hard to remember.
